SAS uses Design for Assembly (DFA) in order to simulate the assembly process virtually during the planning phase. The assembly direction and also the alignment and fixing concept for all components is optimised and aligned with the assembly process.
All product and process data from various CAD systems is loaded with the DFA software and combined within a module. All process steps can be performed and optimised virtually in cross-sections and dynamic movements. The results then form the basis for an assembly-friendly product design.
