SAS purchasing - competent and customer-oriented
Multifarious tasks consistently accomplished
Below is an overview of our components, systems, materials and services.
Investment and services
The purchasing department for these commodity groups is responsible for all equipment and installations which SAS needs to produce cockpits, Here we profit from our many years of experience in production which we have systematically transformed into uniform standards. This guarantees that our customers all over the world always receive their cockpits in the same quality regardless of whether they are in Brazil, France or South Africa.
Metal
Attention is also paid to the purchasing of metallic components. From the smallest screw to the most complex cross-member, these products contain all the metallic components which are to be found in a cockpit. Here too, we try to offer our customers conditions which correlate with the global competition.
Plastics and raw materials
Synthetic components of all variants and types enjoy particular significance when purchasing serial parts. This includes complicated die cast parts, kinematic components, blow-moulded parts and foamed components.
Regardless of whether they are cost-effective or high-technology:
- We offer our customers the entire range.
- We adjust everything to fit individual requirements.
This means we expect flexibility and the expertise of a full service supplier from our suppliers. To the same extent, we attach great importance to the purchasing of prototypes and raw materials.
Electronics
The number of electronic components in a cockpit is constantly increasing and is therefore gaining increasing significance and importance for us too. This is less a matter of individual units but rather modules such as switch units, displays, display instruments and cable looms.
